Construction projects, large and small, are by their very nature, due in part to the tightly-paced subcontractor schedules, vulnerable to delays caused by a number of issues, whether natural or man-made, including, weather delays, material delivery delays, subcontractor inefficiency and labor shortages, which in turn can be caused by a multitude of issues. These claims require a clear understanding of the contracts, applicable law and of course the facts of the case as documented by the parties.
