Regina Campbell, Esq. is the Managing Partner of The Campbell Law Group based in Coral Gables, Florida. Her prior entrepreneurial experience in building businesses has not only given her the opportunity to develop and hone her business acumen, but has also shaped her background and knowledge to better position the firm to serve and understand all of its client’s needs in an ever-changing global economy.
As an entrepreneur, Regina built and managed companies involved in providing services encompassing the efficient use of technology. She also has experience in real estate development and with consulting public companies in the areas of investor relations and corporate governance. Her entrepreneurial background has given her unique insight and understanding of business structures and the constant change inherent in every stage of a company’s life.
Regina first began practicing law in 2009. She received her law degree from Hofstra University in New York and her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Florida International University, with a specialty certificate in Latin American Studies.
Regina is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and is admitted into the Southern and Middle Districts of the US Federal and Bankruptcy District Courts. Regina is also a member of the Dade County Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Hispanic Bar Association.
In addition to her vast experience as a business litigator, Regina has a strong background in complex business and financial transactions, with specific experience dealing with mergers and acquisitions (M&As), private equity funding, and strategic drafting and planning of company structures and shareholder/corporate governance documents, along with issues that arise in management and the dynamics between shareholders and/or members and owners of a company.
Above all, one of Regina’s biggest passions is litigation. The Campbell Law Group has seen a great deal of success in prosecuting and litigating business fraud and ponzi schemes, tortious interference with a business relationship cases, and shareholder actions, amongst others.
In light of the litigious nature of our society, Regina is also devoted to advising her clients on their long term goals and plans in order to help them protect both their personal assets and their businesses. Through shrewd structuring of business entities and agreements, she has helped numerous clients mitigate the litigious risks inherent in operating a business. Some of the tools utilized by Regina in such situations include, but are not limited to, pre and post nuptial agreements, strategic planning of corporate structure, financial agreements, operating and business succession plans, indemnification agreements for directors and owners, insurance, trusts, as well as outside accountants and financial planners.
Regina’s legal methodology and approach involves listening to the specific needs of each of her clients, understanding their individual circumstances, and recommending a resolution that is unique to each client’s situation.
In her free time, Regina is involved in the community by volunteering time with various homeless organizations, such as Camillus House. She also performs pro bono work for various organizations that aid families and businesses in the community with their legal needs.
